The Helleborus Sparkle series is grown by the passionate growers of Colour Your Season, where a love for perennials is at the heart of everything they do.
One of the growers, FlevoFlora, has its own Helleborus breeding programme and developed the Sparkle® series. After years of careful selection, these unique varieties were created. Only the very best plants are chosen: they must not only bloom beautifully, but also be strong, sustainable, and resistant to disease. This way, Colour Your Season delivers a healthy Helleborus that will bring colour and joy to your garden for years to come
Care tips for a radiant Helleborus Sparkle®
Choose a sheltered spot with plenty of light; avoid full summer sun.
Plant before the ground freezes for the best start. In frost the flowers may droop, but once the thaw sets in they will proudly stand tall again.
Water moderately, about once a week, and avoid wet feet.
Prune away old leaves only when new flower buds appear.
For an extra boost of growth, apply an organic fertiliser in spring.
